Average of 5

“You are the average of the five people you most associate with” – Tim Ferriss

This phrase can be taken in many ways.

The most literal, the five people you hangout with or spend the most time with.

But beyond the literal: it can be the people you look up to, things you listen to, and content you absorb.

You pick up the habits, routines, and interests of the sources you spend the most time with.

If you want to become someone with particular characteristics, go out of your way to associate with them however you must.

Be selective with how you spend your free time.

A rising tide lifts all boats.

*I treat this blog as a personal self development tool. So I may repeat a theme from time to time, but that’s because sometimes we need a reminder.*
